- The new record was set at 11 minutes 8 seconds
- The record was obtained using 105 combines to harvest 162 acres
- There were an estimated 8-10,000 people in attendance
- The field received over half an inch of rain the day before the harvest
- Approximately 200 volunteers helped to make this day possible
- The entire harvest was completely donated, including the seeding, spraying, swathing, hauling, and drying
- The yield was about 65 bushels per acre
